Environmental compliance is an important consideration when planning and conducting industrial activities and when structuring corporate and real estate transactions. To be sure, the complex environmental requirements imposed on business have the potential to increase costs. Nevertheless, opportunities frequently exist to minimize costs while achieving multiple business objectives.
At Warren Environmental Counsel, we help our clients develop innovative strategies that promote both environmental compliance and increased profitability. We also frequently seek to engage government and community stakeholders in designing sustainable solutions that have broad-based support and enhance our clients’ reputations.
Even where other stakeholders pursue a more contentious approach, their knowledge that we have successfully litigated cases often opens the door to cost-effective, successful outcomes for our clients. Occasionally, however, adversaries reject collaborative, environmentally protective solutions and attempt to overreach. In these instances, we vigorously advocate or litigate to protect client interests.
Our lawyers are experienced environmental law practitioners formerly members of or associated with major law firms. We are accustomed to addressing the complex regulatory, policy, scientific and political considerations important to providing sound legal advice. We pride ourselves in our ability to serve as strong advocates for clients while maintaining the relationships with regulators and stakeholders necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
